PADI Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course with Norway Dive Mallorca is your gateway to exploring the underwater world with confidence and freedom. Over three days, you will learn the fundamental theory of scuba diving, practise skills in controlled shallow water and complete a series of open water dives under the supervision of a PADI Professional. By the end of the programme, you will be comfortable using your gear, managing buoyancy and navigating below the surface, enabling you to dive independently with a buddy at dive sites around the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters. This certification is the most recognised qualification in recreational diving and opens up a lifetime of underwater exploration. What to Expect
You can expect a structured and supportive course that builds your confidence and skills step by step. Begin with online or classroom learning to understand the fundamentals of scuba diving, then move into shallow water to practise essential skills such as breathing underwater, clearing your mask and managing buoyancy. Once you feel comfortable with these basics, you’ll complete a series of four open water dives under the guidance of experienced instructors, applying what you’ve learned and discovering marine life up close in Mallorca’s waters. Throughout the course, safety and personalised guidance from trained professionals ensure you learn at a steady pace and gain real competence and comfort underwater. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a PADI Open Water Diver certification that is recognised worldwide and allows you to dive independently with a buddy to a depth of 18 meters.
