PADI Emergency First Response

The PADI Emergency First Response course teaches you how to act with confidence in emergency situations by providing hands-on training in basic first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This course goes beyond theory, giving you practical skills to support someone in need until professional medical help arrives. You will begin with primary care training, learning how to assess life-threatening situations and perform CPR effectively. From there, you advance to secondary care, where you learn to evaluate injuries, apply first aid, manage wounds and understand the initial response for non-life-threatening conditions. For those who want to be even more prepared, an optional Care for Children module is available to help you respond appropriately to emergencies involving infants and young children. No diving experience or prior certification is required, making this course suitable for divers and non-divers alike. What to expect:

When you join the Emergency First Response course, you will complete a short online learning component followed by guided in-person training that typically takes a few hours to finish. Your instructor will lead you through practical exercises in CPR, first aid and emergency response, using realistic scenarios to help you practice your skills and build confidence. Throughout the session, you will receive personalised instruction, enabling you to feel comfortable performing lifesaving techniques when it matters most. Upon successful completion, you earn a PADI Emergency First Response certification that is recognised internationally and valid for your future diving courses and real-world application.
