PADI Discover Scuba Diving

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience with Norway Dive Mallorca offers a safe and exciting way to experience scuba diving for the first time. Under the supervision of a PADI Professional, participants learn how to use scuba equipment and practise basic underwater skills in shallow water before taking a guided open water dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres / 40 feet.

No previous diving experience is required, making this activity ideal for anyone who wants to explore the underwater world during their stay in Mallorca. All necessary equipment is provided, and the focus is on safety, comfort and enjoyment. What to Expect:

The experience begins with a briefing where your PADI instructor explains the equipment, safety rules and basic underwater techniques. You will then practise a few simple skills in shallow, controlled water to become comfortable with breathing through the regulator and moving underwater.

Once you feel confident, you will continue with a guided open water dive under the direct supervision of your instructor, reaching a maximum depth of around 12 metres / 40 feet. During the dive you may encounter colourful fish, rocky reefs and typical Mediterranean marine life while enjoying the peaceful sensation of floating weightlessly underwater.

The entire experience typically takes around four hours and is designed to be relaxed, supportive and enjoyable. After the dive, you will have experienced what real scuba diving feels like and may decide to continue your diving journey with further PADI diving experiences in the future.
