Calius Joven is a young red wine belonging to the cellar of Cándido Hernández Pio. This red wine has been made with the grape varieties Vijariego Negro, Castellana, Tintilla and Tempranillo. The vines are planted in the bodega's vineyards in Candelaria, at an altitude of 150 m above sea level. The grapes are hand-harvested from different plots of land in the north of Tenerife, giving them an unequalled character. They are then carefully transported to the winery in boxes of less than 14kg, where they are elaborated with all the necessary means to guarantee the quality and hygiene of the must.
