PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course with Norway Dive Mallorca is designed to help certified divers take the next step in their underwater journey. Over a series of five exciting open water dives, you’ll explore a range of specialised dive types — such as deep diving, underwater navigation, drift diving and fish identification — all under the guidance of a PADI Professional. This course focuses on hands-on learning in real environments rather than classroom theory, allowing you to build confidence, improve buoyancy control and master practical skills that make your diving more enjoyable and versatile. By completing this recognised certification, you gain greater competence and qualification to dive to deeper limits and in a wider variety of conditions around the world. What to Expect
Expect a more immersive and exploratory diving experience that builds on your existing Open Water Diver certification. After a briefing with your PADI instructor about the adventure dives you’ll complete, you’ll head into real open water environments to practise essential skills and learn new ones. You’ll tackle different dive objectives such as mastering deep pressure management, enhancing underwater navigation techniques and exploring varied underwater terrain and currents. This course emphasises doing rather than sitting in a classroom, so much of your learning happens directly in the sea with instructor support. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident and capable below the surface, qualified to explore deeper dives and a broader range of dive sites with skill and comfort. • Diver Propulsion Vehicle
• Naturalist
• Fish Identification

This license allows you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 30 metres/100 feet without professional supervision (where local laws allow). This certification requires just 2 days – or 1 day if you already hold an Adventures in Diving certification. During the course, you can even sample training exercises from the PADI Rescue Diver course during this program that will credit you should you continue your diver education.
