About this listing
Verónica Ortega's ROC is a red wine from two very old plots of Mencía, located in Valtuille de Abajo. The vines are grown on clay-sandy soils with high sand content, adding a very elegant aromatic profile to the Mencía, and a certain precision in the mouth. The wine is made using 100% of the bunches with their stems and spontaneously fermented in a 5000-litre open wooden vat. Ageing occurs in 228-litre French oak barrels of second and third use. Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:Aromas & Palate: Roc is a serious Mencia red wine, with a marked personality.
