Trossos del Priorat is situated in Gratallops, in the heart of the Priorat region. The objective of the winery is to produce fine and elegant wines that emphasise the personality of the Priorat region. Lo Mon has been aged for 12 months in 225-litre French oak casks (33% new, 33% one-year-old and 33% two years old). The wine continues to age in bottle for a further 18 months. Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:Appearance: It is a red wine with violet reflections and a medium depth.Aromas: On the nose, it is very complex with balsamic nuances, red fruit notes and citrus peel. There are also mineral notes of ash and black spices.Palate: This wine is powerful and long, with very round and velvety tannins. It also has notes of ripe fruit and spicy hints. A long, warm finish brings back the aroma of sweet spices.
