Gutiérrez de la Vega Monte Diva

Monte Diva Brisat is a distinguished wine crafted by the renowned Gutiérrez de la Vega winery in the Alicante region of Spain. This exquisite wine is exclusively created from Moscatel de Alejandría grapes harvested from chosen vineyards within the Monte Diva estate. WINE MAKINGThe grapes were meticulously handpicked at the peak of rioeness to ensure the Muscatel grape's full splendour. They were then gently pressed to extract their aromatic juice.Fermentation took place with the skins, in 300-litre open barrels for 7 days. Fermentation occurred at a low temperature to preserve the delicate aromas and fruity flavours.Subsequently, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 15 months to enrich its complexity and texture.The wine was naturally clarified in barrels, after filtration, at 5 microns. TASTING NOTESAppearance: The wine displays a beautiful golden yellow hue.Aromas: It is intensely aromatic, enticing the nose with aromas of white flowers, citrus, apricot, peach, lavender, rosemary, and thyme on the nose.Palate: The palate offers a luscious texture, with a long, lingering finish reminiscent of orange peel and ripe loquat. It is fresh and well-balanced, with a crisp acidity that accentuates the white fruit and citrus flavours. Subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs and a mineral undertone contribute to its complexity.Pairing: Monte Diva pairs excellently with main courses, particularly fish rice dishes, seafood and poultry stews. Serving temperature (ºC): 8 - 10º
