About this listing
Casta Diva Cosecha Dorada is a dry white wine made entirely from ripened Moscatel de Alejandría grapes that have been harvested from 40-year-old vineyards and grown on clay-limestone soils in the Jalón valley region. The grapes are harvested by hand and taken to the winery, where they are pressed and fermented for 15 days in a stainless steel tank. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for 5 months in stainless steel tanks and lightly filtered before bottling and marketing. Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:Appearance: This Gutiérrez de la Vega wine is clean and bright and has a pale lemon colour with greenish reflections.Aromas: It has a suggestive perfume of white flowers (rose, almond blossom, jasmine), apricot, citrus, dried bay leaves, and a lively aniseed touch. Palate: It is fresh from start to finish, slightly saline, and surprisingly dry in the mouth.Pairing: This wine is extraordinary as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to products with a salty nuance. It also pairs well with food that has floral touches, saffron cuisine, and paella dishes.
