Can Gelat Giró Ros

The wines created by Can Gelat emphasise sustainability and biodiversity in the vineyard.  The grapes that they grow are cultivated with love and respect for the environment, people, flora, and fauna. This, in turn,  leads to high-quality fruit and sustainability throughout the vineyard. Can Gelat Giró Ros is an aromatic, well-balanced, and complex gastronomic white wine. It is made from 100% Giró Ros grapes, a varietal that is grown exclusively in Mallorca. 85% of the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and 15% in 500L new, French oak barrels, to add complexity to the wine.  Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:Appearance: The beautiful, golden colour characterizes the grape variety at maturity. Aromas: This is a versatile wine with refreshing aromas of white stone fruit and juicy nectarine, followed by Mediterranean spices and a hint of honey. Palate: The flavour is full, silky, and smooth, with a refreshing saltiness and a touch of fennel notes. All of this is accompanied by a pleasant acidity, which makes this a gastronomic wine. Tangerine zest and a slight bitterness characterize the long aftertaste.Serving Temperature: Slightly chilled from 10ºC to 12ºC.Pairing: Perfect with fish, poultry, fresh, sweet, and savoury dishes. At a recent Guia Peñin tasting, this particular wine was awarded a 91-point rating.
