Albamar Clarete is a unique addition to Xurxo Alba's range of wines. Xurxo Alba, one of the most innovative winemakers in Rías Baixas, has introduced this ambitious Clarete, which is unlike any other Spanish wine. Albamar Clarete is crafted from Mencía grapes that were pressed as if it were a white wine. 10% of directly pressed and fermented Albariño was added and the wine was then left to age for 6 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. The grapes were harvested from granite soils. Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:Palate: A lively, enjoyable, and incredibly refreshing Mencía clarete wine.
